Hi, I’m Laura, the founder of All In: Mental Wellbeing Services. I'm a fully qualified therapist and member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy with a specialist interest in working with neurodiversity.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent years working in education, where I developed a strong interest in inclusion and special educational needs. Over the years, both in education and now as a therapist, I’ve met so many people whose neurodivergence hasn’t been properly supported, from childhood right through to adulthood. I’m passionate about creating a more neuro-inclusive society because I truly believe it benefits not just individuals, but everyone. For me, that means using therapeutic tools to support neurodivergent people and those around them.
At All In, I offer one-on-one remote counselling tailored for neurodivergent individuals. I work with people aged 16 and up, as well as parents, carers, and family members. I also provide training, printable resources, and consultancy for anyone looking to better understand and support neurodivergence.
Explore the website to see what’s available. If you’re interested in counselling, I offer a free initial phone consultation so you can decide if I’m the right therapist for you.
If you’re looking for training or resources but need something custom-made, just reach out, and we can chat about what you need!

My Approach
In my practice I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). If you've tried therapy before, in some ways ACT might feel quite different. Rather than asking you to try to change how you think and feel, ACT helps you shift how you relate to your thoughts and feelings so they don't have as much power over you and what you do. It involves talking about your experiences but it also involves putting things into practice. This could mean practising mindfulness exercises, guided visualisations, or committing to try manageable challenges between sessions.
I also use person-centred values, in my work, meaning I believe that clients are experts in their own experiences and that as a therapist I should provide empathy, authenticity and non-judgment to help you tap into your own potential for change and growth. I'm also trained to use skills and ideas from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) to help you further experience how acceptance and change can work together.
So, using you, the client, as the expert on your own life, we'd work together to develop skills and tools to achieve your therapeutic goals. All of this is supported through a neuroaffirming attitude that's been developed through my qualifications and experience in the world of education, and also specialised qualifications for therapists in supporting neurodivergence.
Counselling sessions can take place online or over the phone, giving you the flexibility to access support from the comfort of your own space. This can make it easier to fit sessions into your routine, get rid of travel time, and create a familiar environment for our conversations. It also means you can access specialist neurodivergent support from anywhere in the country.
If you're local to Chester, and prefer an in-person experience, I now also offer sessions from my office on Sealand Road. Where soft lighting, fidget toys and warm drinks create a holistic, comforting environment for therapy to take place in.
