Have you ever looked at the system and thought, Nope. This isn’t right. I could run things better than this?
A bit egotistical? Maybe. But I worked in education in a couple of different capacities for a long time, and I've worked with a lot of people whose neurodivergent challenges have led to some pretty awful outcomes. So I couldn't help but think: This could be done so much better.
And I’m not necessarily blaming the people within these systems—teachers, healthcare professionals, therapists, and famiy members. Most are doing their best with the knowledge and training they’ve been given. But that’s just it. What if they had better knowledge? What if they had practical, research-backed tools to support neurodivergent minds in a way that actually works?
There's some fantastic stuff out there from the world of occupational therapy on how to support the sensory and processing challenges that come with ASD and ADHD (check out @theotbutterfly on Instagram, if you can!), and a good ed psych or SENCO can be invaluable. But what can be drawn on from counselling and psychotherapy? (Definitely not ABA, but we'll save that for a future blog!)
That’s where All In comes in.
I created this service to bring together the different threads of my life—lived experience, work and studies in education and SEN, and my work as a therapist—to provide meaningful, neuro-affirming support. Grounded in person-centred therapy and third-wave CBT, All In offers 1:1 counselling, webinars, training and digital resources designed to work with the strengths neurodivergence, not against them, whilst also acknowledging the challenges.
If you’re looking for practical, compassionate mental wellbeing support for your neurodivergent self or the neurodivergent people in your life, take a look at what’s on offer. Explore the website, check out our socials, and see how we’re working to make the system fit a neurodiverse world.
